Anduril announces a planned software-defined shipyard at Sparrows Point, Maryland, to make Virginia-class submarine components and assemblies. Initial operations are expected in 2030.
The announced $3.7B private investment and Navy contract of up to $2.9B concern industrial capacity, not venture financing. ArsenalOS is planned to coordinate production, inspection and material movement.
