Anthropic publishes early results from six drug-development partnerships spanning molecule design, laboratory testing, manufacturing documentation and clinical-trial planning. It also discloses acquiring Mithril Medicine, whose founder Cody Tranbarger is continuing muscular-dystrophy research at Anthropic.
The work connects AI agents to real experimental and operational drug-development workflows. Most reported research is preclinical; mouse results and laboratory measurements do not establish effective human treatments. Possible human trials for the Mithril program are projected for late 2028 if candidates hold up.
