Apple announces its first foldable iPhone, with outer and inner displays and a redesigned iOS experience. Pre-orders are planned for October 16 and availability for October 23, 2026.
A new hardware format extends the iPhone beyond its traditional slab design. The September announcement is distinct from the later planned sale date.
