Mistral publishes improved Large 4 weights, following its earlier hosted public preview. The multimodal mixture-of-experts model supports coding, reasoning and agent workflows with a one-million-token context.
Downloadable weights enable self-hosting and customization. The Mistral Ecosystem Open-Weight License includes a separate commercial-license requirement for Model-as-a-Service businesses, with internal-use exceptions; this is not an unrestricted MIT release. Coding and cybersecurity gains are reported by Mistral.
